"New SANSA REGIONAL" Unveiled
On November 26th, 2008 in San Jose, Costa Rica we proudly unveiled "the new SANSA REGIONAL". What is so new about SANSA REGIONAL?
- New aircraft: SANSA REGIONAL will take delivery of 4 new Caravans in 2008, with 8 more for delivery in 2009. The new Caravans boast the latest avionic and safety technology, as well as luxurious leather interiors. Facilitated by state-of-the-art technology (Garmin 1000, Synthetic Vision Technology, other), the new aircraft will also be more fuel efficient than the existing fleet; supporting SANSA’s commitment (insert a link here to SANSA REGIONAL: A Carbon-Neutral Airline) to the environment through reduced emissions.
- New image: SANSA REGIONAL is the first REGIONAL airline to implement a change of image that will be replicated in all of our affiliates. In explaining the new image, Matt Vincett (Vice-President of TACA REGIONAL said: “SANSA REGIONAL’s new image is about re-focusing on providing the best possible experience for our customers. In this way, the visual changes happening are symbolic of the more important but perhaps less obvious investments we are making to improve our product.
- New terminal: Through an investment of nearly US$500K, we have doubled the size of our terminal in San Jose (located directly beside Juan Santa Maria International terminal). This investment positions SANSA REGIONAL to continue to support the development of tourism in Costa Rica. Our new terminal will make our passengers’ travel experience more comfortable from the moment they arrive to check in for their flight. The new terminal will also make our passengers’ wait for their flight more pleasant via upgraded surroundings, a new snack area, and also newly installed free wireless internet service. Last, but certainly not least, the new terminal represents a better work environment for our people, who will continue to welcome our customers with the friendly and helpful attitude that Costa Ricans are famous for.
