Safety is our top priority. There is nothing more important to us than the safety of our passengers and employees; we achieve it through a strict compliance of IATA regulatory standards and of REGIONAL standard operational procedures.
Here are some of the ways that we regularly invest to ensure the safety our customers and of our employees:
- Aircraft equipped with latest safety technology, including traffic avoidance systems, early ground proximity warning systems, among others.
- Pilots trained twice annually in state-of-the-art simulators in the U.S. & Canada.
- Engines overhauled/maintained by manufacturer-certified specialist in the U.S.
- Regular audits of all operational areas, both by our own Quality Assurance department and also by third parties (TACA Quality Assurance, regulatory authorities, etc.).
- Monthly affiliated airline and TACA REGIONAL Safety Committee meetings to review operational data, identify opportunities for improvement, share best practices, push forward with key projects, etc.
