One stopover on route permitted per round-trip reward ticket (includes stops of more than 24 hours for connecting flights)

"Open Jaws” and stopovers are permitted for both origin and destination as long as the new origin/destination is within the same zone as the original. An Open Jaw is a round-trip route in which the passenger after traveling from origin A to destination X either returns to A from another point Y or returns from X to another point B

Miles redeemed for reward tickets to travel with DISTANCIA air partners may be used only on flights operated by that airline

Reward tickets may include coupons for flights on one other airline (except TAM and TACA Regional) in addition to TACA

Two separate reward tickets are required for travel between Central and South America when connecting via a North American gateway

If the departure or return date falls within the High Season, then the High Season Table will be used to determine the amount of Miles necessary for the Award Ticket

Due to the structure of the new Redemption Tables, changes from Low season to High season will have an additional fee of $125

Time Limits for reservations will be set according to the following schedule:
If you make reservations 31 or more days prior to your flight, you’ll have 10 days in which to redeem your miles
If you make reservations 11 to 30 days prior to your flight, you’ll have 5 days in which to redeem your miles
If you make reservations 4 to 10 days prior to your flight, you’ll have 48 hours in which to redeem your miles
If you make reservations up to 3 days prior to your flight, you’ll have 24 hours in which to redeem your miles
